A Message from the Exhibit Curator
"In early 2014, after reading in the LA Times that another Vietnam veteran had passed away, I knew I had to do something.
Many veterans were now in their mid-sixties, approaching their seventies. As a Vietnam veteran myself, four years from turning seventy, I felt the urgency to honor those who never came home and to finally welcome and thank those who did. After 45 years, many of us had never received the recognition we deserved."
– George J. Sandoval, Exhibit Curator
